Customer Type: Museum-Exhibit
With limited space due to tight city streets, a museum had unique loading dock positions that required trucks to enter bays diagonally. This led to trucks hitting and damaging the stainless steel rolling doors. The two docks were used daily, so being down a dock position waiting for replacement parts negatively impacted operations.
DH Pace recommended installing ultra-tough, high performance rubber doors mounted to the building’s exterior. This allowed the customer to leave the rolling doors up during the day and use the high performance doors during business hours. This solution was ideal because it protected the rolling doors and provided a backup option if a door gets hit or needs repair.
