PROBLEM
A courthouse had several vehicle entrances with rolling steel doors that required security to restrict vehicular traffic when the doors were in the open position.
SOLUTION
DH Pace presented a solution that kept the existing rolling steel doors in place and added a significant level of protection from unwanted vehicle traffic. The Company installed vehicle arm barriers capable of stopping a truck approximately one meter after hitting the barrier before each of the rolling steel doors. The barriers are built for high cycle use so they can be raised and lowered at a near-constant rate without
a slowdown. They rise in 8 seconds or less so traffic to the courthouse can continue to flow smoothly. The barriers feature a dual-arm height design to stop unauthorized passenger vehicles and larger trucks. LED lights on the barriers ensure they are clearly visible at all times of day.
The result is increased security and efficiency for the courthouse as well as its staff and visitors, and peace of mind for the jurisdiction in charge of the courthouse.
