During a construction project, occupied health care facilities must take special care to control environmental hazards. DH Pace has in-house experts on Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) protocols.
During the assessment, trained team members evaluate the scope of work to determine risk factors. This includes identifying potential hazards that may affect patients, labs, sterile areas and medical equipment to minimize the risk of a hospital-acquired infection. Assessment results are documented on an ICRA form that outlines the required preventive measures for the project before an approved Infection Control Construction Permit is issued.
